Differences between Christianity and Islam

Since the Pope loves the Quran & since Your President says that Islam is a religion of peace, & since many so called Christian Ministers in my Country & England now teach that Islam & the Quaran are just another way to God, I wish to share with you the following

Qu’ranic Verse

1.. [4.157] And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

2.. [4.171] O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

Yet the Christian Scriptures say

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

IFthey are allowed to live, they must never offend a Muslim and they must be constantly discriminated against and reminded of their humiliation and subjugation, in order that they will progressively convert to Islam.

Essential to Islam’s (end game) idea of ‘world peace’ is a world where all non-Muslims, Infidels & Apostates have either been exterminated, or pay the Jizyah (only for ‘the People of the Book – Jews & Christians IF Muslims choose to let them live).

Peace under Islam is not peace. Coercion, exploitation, suppression of ‘freedom’to chose what to believe or say or do legally, is not peace – it is slavery.

It seems to me that an enormous difference is the what ‘peace’ looks like under Islam and what it looks like under Christianity. An ‘Islamic peace’ is about creating a society in which Muslims feel superior, in control and free to discriminate against and exploit non-muslims. The book “Legacy of Jihad” does not make an ‘Islamic peace’ attractive based on the history of Islamic jihad. Christian peace, from a Biblical viewpoint is about Christians’ being free to follow Jesus without persecution, in a society which is just. Such a society does not coerce anyone into following Jesus. By implication, muslims… Read more »

The name Allah is derived from the semitic terms El and Elohim (Gods) and is used by Arab speaking Jews and Christians to refer to God, and by Muslim Arab speakers (and the Quran) to refer to God. The word Allah predated Islam and Jews and Christians used it prior to Islam. I think the Quran argues they are the same God. Some people believe ‘the God’ predated Islam to refer to pagan worship of the ‘moon deities’, or the greatest of the moon deities in pre-Islamic Arabia, especially Mecca: hence the crescent moon symbol in Islam as a carry-over… Read more »
